Join our affiliate program and get compensated for all new employment background screening clients you refer.
If you have corporate/ B2B or government human resources customers you would be an ideal fit for our paid referral program.
Employers Choice Screening (ECS), a division of Employers Choice Online, Inc., offers background screening affiliates a referral fee for every new client opportunity based on the considerations outlined below.
ECS will pay referral fees net 15 calendar days upon receiving payment from the referred background screening client.
Marketing materials will be provided to them to assist in promoting ECS services. Written permission can also be requested to use ECS logos, service marks, and other copyrighted materials, subject to approval by ECS.
Due to the nature of our engagements and state and federal background screening law requirements, ECS will contract directly with the client. If the Affiliate requests, ECS will communicate with the client and Affiliate regarding all project details.

Become an Affiliate
- First, verify your eligibility by contacting ECS at (888) 553-2103.
- Next, fill out the attached Affiliate Information Form and W-9 form.
- Finally, wait for your registered Affiliate number to be sent to you.
- Promote professional background screening services to your clients using your website, email, social profiles and blogs.
Process for Referring a New Client
- First, become an ECS Affiliate with a registered identification number (if you are not already a partner).
- Next, submit the client to ECS in writing, along with your Affiliate registration number. You are responsible for providing the correct registration number to ECS. Without a valid registration number, ECS may not compensate the referral.
- Finally, provide ECS with a written scope of the opportunity and include details on how to contact the client. Make sure to identify the parties involved, their objectives, and include the following information: contact name, position, company, phone number, email address, and business address.
Exclusions & Limitations
- Corporate HR screening referrals without an Affiliate’s registration number.
- Opportunities where the client contacts ECS directly before the Affiliate submits the referral for employment background screening.
- Referrals older than 180 days without a signed contract. ECS may extend this period at its discretion upon request from the Affiliate.
- ECS may refuse a client opportunity at its sole discretion.
Other Conditions
Employee background screening affiliates can be individuals; business entities are not required. Law firms, HR consulting firms, temporary employment agencies, investigation agencies, and insurance agencies may also qualify for the Affiliate program.
Full discretion in granting Affiliate registration rests with ECS, and Affiliate status can be revoked at any time. The company reserves the right to discontinue the employment background screening program at any time.
Referral fee percentages may change with 30 days written notice from ECS. The rules governing this program are subject to current terms, which may change without notice.
Referrals must be submitted in writing through postal mail or email, with the date included. ECS will consider the date of receipt as the official referral date. If multiple referrals are submitted for the same job, the referral fee will be paid to the first one received. A valid registration number must be provided, as ECS may not compensate referrals without one.
